YOUTH TRAP TEAM BENEFIT SMOKER SCHEDULED

Tuesday, January 12, 2010

We started our youth trap shooting program in the Spring of 2009. Through an NRA grant and generous donations from club members and guests we were able to provide ammunition and approximately 30,000 clay targets to our new shooters at no cost to them. We also took 12 of our young guns to Mason, Mi for their first ATA shoot and covered all fees and transportation costs. We want to continue and expand our program and offer shooting education and opportunities to our youth free of charge for as long as we possibly can do it. This takes funds and dedicated volunteers and we are very thankful for what we have received so far. The Edwardsburg Cinservation Club will hold a "Draw Down Raffle" on Saturday February 13, 2010 to help raise more funds to support our program. Throughout the evening there will be ten $50.00 winning tickets drawn. One $500.00 winning ticket will be drawn at the halfway point and the last ticket holder will receive the Grand Prize of $1000.00 cash. Ticket holders will also be eligible to win gift certificates and items donated by area businesses that will also be given away at various intervals throughout hte evening. Tickets are being sold by club members for $30.00 each which includes one raffle ticket, and one All You Can Eat Rib Tip & Chicken dinner and draft beer and soft drink tickets. A second Dinner/Drink ticket may be purchased for $15.00. SO.......guys and gals; for $45.00 you can take your Valentine out for dinner and drinks and dancing (I didn't mention that, did I?) and have a chance to win one of several cash prizes up to $1000.00. AFTER DINNER MUSIC WILL BE PROVIDED BY DJ/KJ LONE WOLF ENTERTAINMENT. Doors open at 5 pm, Dinner served at 6 pm and the Raffle starts at 7 p.m. Music will start at the conclusion of the raffle. See members for tickets or contact co-chairs Mark 574-340-8450 or Debbie 269-683-1405.
