About the Event
Meet at the club at 9:00 a.m. to pick up trash bags & safety vests and assignment. We plan to leave there by 9:15 a.m. Bring a trash grabber pick up tool if you have one & dress appropriately for weather. Work gloves and sturdy shoes recommended.
We participate in the Adopt-A-Highway program run by the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). We clean a 2 mile section of M-62 (roughly) between Pine Lake St. & Cemetary St. 2-3 times a year. The Spring clean-up time is usually when we can use the most volunteers as trash has accumulated for approximately 6 months since the prior Fall Clean-Up.
